Arnold Kling

This is my personal web page. I think that a good personal web page should include personal writing, book reviews, and links to other favorite sites.

I have been maintaining an economics blog at EconLog, which is the successor to Great Questions of Economics.

I have written a lot about the housing and financial crisis. See Lectures on Macroeconomics and testimony before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Operations.

Crisis of Abundance, my book on health care policy, is available.

Also, you can order Under the Radar: Starting Your Internet Business Without Venture Capital from Amazon. The book is based on my experience as well as that of over two dozen other entrepreneurs.

I teach two high school classes, one on economics, and one on statistics.

In case you didn't know, I started homefair.com in May of 1994, and ultimately sold it in October of 1999. My reflections on homefair can be found at A Sequence of Miscalculations.

On December 28, 1999, I started the Internet Bubble Monitor. I froze it on March 9, 2001. At that point, I figured it was time to declare victory over the bubble and move on to something else.

Here is the aimst archive, which houses the "Arguing in My Spare Time" essays that I write.

A movie of me dancing can be found here. If you're looking from the perspective of the camera, I am in the middle and toward the left, wearing a white shirt. Jackie is dancing in the back row on the right, wearing a white shirt. The woman at the front right choreographed the dance.
