These are videos in which I appear

2009 KC blogger's forum. I speak at 9:23.

2011 KC blogger's forum. I attempt to dance while coming down with a bad cold.

A panel at Cato on my 2006 book Crisis of Abundance.

In 2009, I gave a talk at Heritage, which was widely misquoted to make me appear racist.

In 2010, I appeared on a panel at The American Action Forum. My opening joke went well.

In September of 2008, Will Wilkinson interviewed me about the financial crisis. We were on a telephone hookup. I was sick, but otherwise gave a good account, or so I thought at the time.

In December of 2008, I gave my first ever Congressional testimony, at a very long hearing on Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and their role in the mortgage meltdown.

In April of 2010, I testified at a House Commmitte hearing on HAMP, an ill-fated program to try to modify mortgages. Speaking off the cuff, I identified the problem with trying to shuffle two business processes on the fly. I think my appearance begins about 90 minutes into the video.

In March of 2011, I testified at a Senate Banking Committee hearing on mortgage finance reform. On new government guarantees, my line was "Just say no."
