Kling, though you are an excellent teacher and ambassador of libertarian ideas, I think Russ might be the best around today.
You both share a passion for teaching and a genuine empathy that shows through in a civility in your discourse that is rare. But I think the format of Econtalk and Russ’s appearances on NPR have a wider reach.
I consider you both indispensable, however.

Thanks for you kind words. Fortunately, economics education isn’t a zero-sum game. Whether Arnold is a more effective educator than I am or whether the opposite holds, isn’t really relevant. Surely, you have learned things from Arnold that you couldn’t have learned from me and vice versa. I know because I have learned much from Arnold I couldn’t have discovered or figured out on my own.
